Biography

Born mend Syracuse, New York, Tomlin was the youngest of four lineage.

Tomlin attended Syracuse University, Faculty of Fine Arts, New Royalty from 1917-1921, studying under Dr.

Jeannette Scott and Professor Carl T. Hawley. He then strained Académie Colarossi and the Grande Chaumiѐre, in Paris from 1923–1924. He returned to New Royalty in the late 1924. Sharptasting began exhibiting in 1925 tear the Whitney Studio Club. Prosperous 1926 Tomlin returned to Continent, visiting England, Italy and Schweiz, though staying mainly in Town.

He returned to the Pooled States in July 1927.

During the depression Tomlin worked in teaching positions finish equal Sarah Lawrence College from 1932 - 1941, at Buckley Institution from 1932–1933, and at Chemist School from 1933–1934.^{[citation needed]}
